Who we are
Ticket Panel is an event ticketing, NFC pass and parking management platform operated by , India ("Ticket Panel", "we", "us"). This policy covers this website (ticketpanel.in) and the Ticket Panel app (app.ticketpanel.in).
We wrote it with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act) in mind. Where we decide why and how personal data is used, we act as a Data Fiduciary. Where we handle attendee data on behalf of an organizer, the organizer is the Data Fiduciary and we act as their Data Processor.
What we collect
Organizer accounts. Name, email address, phone number, organization details, the staff members you invite and the roles you give them.
Event and attendee data. Events, ticket types, passes and parking records you create, and the details your customers give when they book or are issued a ticket, such as name, phone number, email address and vehicle number. We process this data for the organizer who collected it.
Payment data. Online payments are handled by the payment gateway the organizer connects, through their own account. We receive payment status and reference IDs, never full card or bank details. For manual payments, we store the proof of payment uploaded for approval.
Usage and device data. Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages and actions, timestamps and an audit trail of actions taken in the app, which keeps accounts secure and helps us fix problems.
Messages to us. What you send through our contact form, email or WhatsApp.
How we use it
- To provide the service: issuing and checking tickets, passes and parking receipts.
- To send the notifications an organizer turns on, by email, WhatsApp or webhook, such as booking confirmations.
- To bill Coin usage and process Coin purchases.
- To keep the platform secure, prevent fraud and investigate misuse.
- To answer support requests and tell you about changes to the service.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Attendee data and organizers
When you book a ticket or receive a pass through an event that uses Ticket Panel, the organizer of that event decides what information is collected and how it is used. We process it only to run the organizer's ticketing and only on their instructions.
For questions about an event, or to exercise your rights over the data you gave an organizer, contact the organizer first. We will help them respond.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us run Ticket Panel, such as hosting, email and messaging providers, bound by confidentiality and data protection terms.
- The payment gateway an organizer connects, to process payments made through their account.
- The organizer who collected the data, for attendee data.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
- A successor business, if Ticket Panel is merged or acquired, under this policy.
Cookies and local storage
This website stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser. The app uses cookies to keep you signed in and secure. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is active. Event, attendee and payment records are kept for as long as the organizer needs them and as long as tax and accounting laws require. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
How we protect it
Data travels over encrypted connections. Access inside an organization is limited by role-based permissions, and actions are recorded in an audit log. NFC passes use NTAG 424 DNA cards with AES-128 encryption so they cannot be cloned. No system is perfectly secure, and if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used.
- Ask us to correct, complete or update it.
- Ask us to erase it, unless we must keep it by law.
- Withdraw consent you gave earlier, for the future.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.
- Raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.

Children
Organizer accounts are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for our own purposes. Organizers who issue tickets to children are responsible for getting consent from a parent or guardian.
